2021 The Exchange Club of Macon Presents Caring Solutions with child safety seats “Baby Safety Month” Club Treasurer Rollin Middlebrooks and Club member Crawford Lovett delivered “3” Baby Safety Car Seats to Caring Solutions. Guest speaker Erica Poulin with Caring Solutions. The club donated “3” Baby Safety Car Seats that were delivered to Caring Solutions.

2020-2021 Firefighter of the Year: LT. Takella Gooch

The Exchange Club of Macon: Firefighter of the Year LT. Takella Gooch Chief Marvin Higgins and The Exchange Club of Macon awarded Lt. Takella Gooch as Firefighter of the Year 2020-2021.  Chief Higgins awarded Lt. Gooch because she is always ready to be on the roster.  He says she is professional, always ready to help, and has an incredibly great attitude.  She says she became a firefighter because of her mentor, her need to be productive, and to stay fit.  Lt. Gooch is supported by her family and her seven children.  She is a true role model and very inspiring person.  Congratulations, Lt. Gooch!

A.C.E. Award Winner 2019-2020

Congratulations to Bobbi Atkinson of Macon, GA for her selection as The Exchange Club of Macon's A.C.E. Award winner!  She is a vivacious young lady who is very persistent in the realization of her goals.  The Exchange Club of Macon worked closely with June O'Neal of  The Mentor's Project to identify Bobbi as a person who is very deserving of this award.   A.C.E. stands for Accepting the Challenge of Excellence. This program recognizes high school students who have made a dramatic change in their attitude and performance during their high school years.
