The Exchange Club of Macon: Firefighter of the Year LT. Takella Gooch
Chief Marvin Higgins and The Exchange Club of Macon awarded Lt. Takella Gooch as Firefighter of the Year 2020-2021. Chief Higgins awarded Lt. Gooch because she is always ready to be on the roster. He says she is professional, always ready to help, and has an incredibly great attitude. She says she became a firefighter because of her mentor, her need to be productive, and to stay fit. Lt. Gooch is supported by her family and her seven children. She is a true role model and very inspiring person. Congratulations, Lt. Gooch!
